Participants in the MARITIME - WORLD - DISCOVERY LLC
The plan: 10 years on a discovery around the world. We, the Maritime World Discovery LLC
( short: MWD) are owners of a crewed luxury catamaran and offer to participate in this " discoverytravel."
The Catamaran: 60-foot motor catamaran with 4 double cabins (each with separate shower and
toilet) spacious salon. Separate kitchen. Electronic equipment to the highest standard.
Membership: Maritime World Discovery LLC is the owner of the yacht and offers membership
rights to the Limited Liability Company. Offered are 10-member shares. To buy more then one (1)
member-share is possible. One member-share entitled to use the yacht over a period of 14 days per
year in the next 10 years. Use of the yacht means: you use the crewed yacht in this 14-day section
with 3 double cabins – ore 6 people. You come alone - with family - with friends. You send friends
or business employees. You can also "charter" your time segment - your free choice. Whenever you
travel, you travel on your private yacht.
Limited Liability Company (LLC) is in its basic shape an American corporation. There is no
liability of the shareholder (member) to third parties. The LLC has its own legal personality, but
she is not a corporation. The LLC arises not only by a contract, it requires the registration by the
authorities of the founding state. The LLC must submit a statute (articels of organization), with
informations about the company, duration, and the corporate and business purpose . The rights and
obligations of the parties (member) are regulated in the „operating agreement“. The LLCcontract
is not publicly accessible. There is no legal limit on the lifetime of the LLC - but, the
contract of the Maritime World Discovery LLC is defined to 10 years lifetime.
Limitation: The yacht is reserved for a period of 20 weeks/year for the 10 participants of the
Maritime-World-Ddiscovery LLC. The reservation-timing depends on the weekly calendar of the
year. 52 bookable weeks for the reservation of 20 weeks. The MWD controls the reservation, in
consultation with you, depending on the route and required time for preparation of journeys, yacht
maintenance etc.. (Additional travel time will be clarified after inquiry / consultation with the MWD
)
Planning a trip: -around the World, over a period of 10 years, is impossible to define. Too many
contingencies, such as wind and weather, transit, maintenance / care, airports, entry rules, ports,
etc. in the various cruising areas, requires a yearly accurate preparation. Beginning of the trip: the
first 2 years the Caribbean / Bahamas. Then: Small / Large Antilles, Trinidad, Panama, Galapagos
Islands, Pacific coast of North America, Hawaiian Islands, Polynesia, Micronesia, New Zealand,
Australia, Philippines, Great Sunda, Sri Lanka, Seychelles, Red Sea, Greece, Black Sea,
Mediterranean European Atlantic coast and Scandinavia.
To give you time for your tour-planning,
the exact tour informations for the following year will be announced 6 month before tour-start. We
will be very happy, to get ideas and experiences for the tour-planning from you - we see ourselves
every year and it is „your yacht“ and you can reach the yacht any time via the Internet or satellite
phone!
The investment: You buy a share as a member of the Maritime World Discovery LLC in the
amount of 120 .000 - €uro. Arithmetically a financial expense of 6.000, - €uro per week per year
for the use of a 60 foot crewed luxury yacht. If you are already travelling in the maritime sector, you
will know, charter costs of a luxury crewed yacht this size: between 15.000 - and 25.000, - €uro/
